Your pet is part of your family, and when you become a Dr. Treat One™ member, you become a part of our family. Don’t worry—we don’t expect you to invite us over for holiday dinners, nor will we ask when you’re going to settle down and give us grandpuppies. But we will be there for you when you need us—no matter the time or your location—because that’s what family does.
Where are you from, and how did you land in the Bay Area?
I’m a Southern California girl—born and raised—where I lived with my family until we embraced our inner nomads. We spent the last couple of years traveling the U.S., exploring so many amazing places, but California is still home. Now, we are thrilled to be putting down roots in San Francisco.
Do you have any furry family members?
Yes! During our travels, we ended up with quite the furry family crew, rescuing our four cats. I know they chose us, because they sensed we are animal lovers. Our most recent rescue cat was a stray who joined our family while we were in Las Vegas. In addition to our kitty crew, we have a sweet pet parakeet who has one functional wing. Our pets are all so special, and they always remind us of our travels.
Can you tell us about your human family members?
My husband and I met on a plane, which makes sense, because we love to travel. We are now parents to a smart, affectionate, and extremely talkative toddler!
What is your favorite food?
That’s a tough question. Honestly, I don't have one favorite food—I love all food! The Bay Area has an exceptional food scene, and I’m excited to try all the restaurants!
What is your biggest fear?
What do you enjoy doing away from work?
We just moved to San Francisco, so we’re still settling in, and acclimating. We’re having fun exploring and checking out all the cool spots. We welcome any recommendations!
Do you have any special talents?
I like singing and painting—oh, and I play the trombone!
Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?
I’m more of an Introvert, for sure.
What do you do to decompress and relax after a long day?
After a long day, I can’t wait to hang out with my kid. Like I said, he loves to talk and is a very good conversationalist.
Where is the next place you’d like to visit?
I want to visit so many places! I’d love to go to Ireland and Scotland.
What do you want to accomplish in the next five years?
I would love to help grow the Dr. Treat team, and make a positive impact on the future of veterinary care. I also want to buy a home - but that may take a bit longer than five years!
What binge-worthy TV show or Netflix series are you watching?
My husband and I regularly watch “Parks and Recreation”, “Queer Eye: More than a Makeover” and “The Mindy Project.” For parents out there—check out “The Not Too Late Show with Elmo” on HBO Max… You and your kids will love it!
